Virtual oasis of intersecting passions as tailored by a Taurus. Semi-frequent broadcasts of my mind-chatter & curations of fantasy, nostalgia, & inquiry.
Hello! My first monthly curated list for your clicking pleasure. Here are some things I’ve been enjoying this month, whether for mindless enjoyment or thought-provoking train rides.
I want to use this monthly prompt to encourage my exploration of new media, and honestly, force myself to read. This first installment is called dare, not only is it a nickname of mine, but also an attitude I want to carry throughout this new year. Many of these links dared me to seek further knowledge, revisit an old passion, or simply think critically. If I can dare myself to start writing and posting online, consider what you can dare yourself to do.
Xoxo, stay daring.

How to fix a lazy vocabulary (essay) This substack post epitomizes the “get off TikTok and learn how to read” sentiment. It even inspired me to save some Quizlet flashcards to learn new words when bored.
Myths and Legends (podcast) I’m finally healing my inner child who was obsessed with Greek mythology in the 6th grade by diving back into these stories while I do chores or run errands.
Eusexua by FKA twigs (album) My most anticipated album of the year (so far). Imbued with fierce beats and insights on pleasure as community.
Countdown Buddy (app) I rearranged my iPhone home screen (again) and love making countdown widgets with this app. I was inspired by How to feel good (again) which mentions having something to look forward to helps us remember that joy is worth experiencing, whether it be a dinner reservation with friends or an upcoming concert. Countdown to the FKA twigs concert, activated.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (book) One of my 2024 resolutions was to read a book, and I’m glad it was this one. Never has a book caused such a visceral emotional reaction in me, causing me to shout “OH MY ****ING GOD” to my empty apartment with tears streaming down my face. I revisited a few bookmarks this month while figuring out what books to tackle this year.
Defying Gravity | Synchronized Roller Coasters (Wicked) (video) Rollercoaster Tycoon continued to be the blueprint for queer creativity. Obsessed with the comment “This is so niche that I don’t even know who to send this to. But I’m so glad the algorithm led me to it because this is totally for me”.

“And remember that bad times… are just times that are bad.”
